My Legislative Priorities
if Honored with Election
A better future starts with protecting what we love—and restoring opportunity for those who call Rhode Island home.
I can't offer guarantees. No elected official can. But I can make this promise: I will do everything in my power to stop the proposed sewage sludge plant and protect our families, neighborhoods, and quality of life.
My fight against this proposal has already begun, and if elected, I will continue that fight at the State House. (To learn more, visit www.StopTheSludge.net.)
Stopping the proposed sludge plant will be my top priority, but it will not be my only priority. If elected, I will also focus on the following:
🏠 STOP THE SLUDGE PLANT TO PROTECT OUR FAMILIES AND QUALITY OF LIFE (For more infor visit: www.StoptheSludge.net). IN ADDITION, PROTECT OUR COMMUNITY FROM ENVIRONMENTAL HARMS INCLUDING THE EXISTING ASPHALT PLANT.
🔍 INCREASE TRANSPARENCY, ACCOUNTABILITY AND INPUT OVER STATE DECISIONS THAT NEGATIVELY WOULD AFFECT NORTH KINGSTOWN (QUONSET).
💰 MAKE RHODE ISLAND MORE AFFORDABLE (Housing, health insurance and childcare)
🎓 STRENGTHEN EDUCATION AND WORKFORCE DEVELOPMENT
📈 GROW THE ECONOMY TO GENERATE QUALITY JOBS
🌊 INVEST IN A CLIMATE RESILIENT INFRASTRUCTURE
🏡 PROMOTE RESPONSIBLE COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT
🛡️ DEFEND THE CONSTITUTION & PROTECT INDIVIDUAL LIBERTY
MORE INFORMATION ABOUT MY PLATFORM:
1. Stop the Sludge Plant:
Protect our families, neighborhoods, sole-source water supply, environment, and unique quality of life from the proposed sludge processing facility. I will do everything in my power to stop the proposed sludge processing plant and protect North Kingstown's quality of life. The fight has already begun. If elected, I will be ready to continue that fight on day one. For more information, visit: StopTheSludge.net
2. Increase Government Transparency, Accountability and Input over State Decisions Affecting North Kingstown by Quonset.
Promote greater oversight of government agencies and quasi-public entities, particularly at Quonset, including existing and proposed industrial projects (such as the Asphalt Plant, Sewage Sludge Plant and the Battery Storage Plant).
3. Make Rhode Island More Affordable
Rhode Island families are struggling with rising costs of housing, homeownership (which is out of reach for many), healthcare, and childcare.
4. Strengthen Education and Workforce Development
Prepare students and workers for success in a rapidly changing economy, including the opportunities and challenges presented by artificial intelligence.
5. Grow the Economy to Generate Quality Jobs:
Support quality job creation and economic opportunity while protecting public health, natural resources, and local community interests.
6. Invest in Climate Resilient Infrastructure
Strengthen roads, utilities, public facilities, and emergency preparedness to meet the challenges of climate change and extreme weather.
7. Promote Responsble Community Development:
Support thoughtful growth that meets community needs, respects local character, and preserves the qualities that make North Kingstown and Exeter special places to live.
8. Defend the Constitution & Protect Individual Liberty
Defend the constitutional rights and freedoms of every citizen while ensuring government remains accountable to the people it serves. I also believe in guarding against unlawful federal encroachment and protecting Rhode Island's rightful state sovereignty.
